Salud America! National Research Briefs
In December 2011, Salud America! issued three national research briefs examining the obesity epidemic among Latino children. These briefs review current evidence and provide policy recommendations with respect to Latino youth:
Salud America! Pilot Grantees & Briefs
In 2009, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, through Salud America!, funded 20 pilot research grants to inform policymakers and advocates working to prevent/reduce Latino childhood obesity.
In December 2011, grantees produced 20 research briefs highlighting their own new research on menu labeling, P.E. policy, community gardens, after-school programs, body image perception and more relating to Latino childhood obesity.
